Apple picking...
The seasons have turned and once again we're picking apples. I love this season!
Tan discovered the apple picker this year at Shelburne Orchards, and had a ball using it to pick this years apples. He cannot wait to go back and pick more. I must say, it is very cool! I just need to catch up with my apple processing so we can accomodate more:) After we picked our apples we relaxed with some fresh, hot cider donuts! Yum!!!!

First time duck hunting....
Tan went out with Mike duck hunting for the first time last weekend and had a ball - loved his breakfast of donuts, loved the thermos of hot chocoate and loved playing in the swamp with Daisy and blowing on his duck calls. Of course Tan wasn't actually hunting, just watching and playing in the swamp, but it was the first time he'd been out and been with Mike while hunting, and he was so proud of the fact that they "got one, found one, and missed one!" He was toting the dead ducks around like they were the most incredible prize, for all who wanted to see. It was very cute.

Montana...
Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Montana. Mike and I had an incredible time, met some wonderful new friends, climbed many mountains, chased lots of elk, and learned a little about Ranch life. We spent most of our stay in a wilderness cabin with no running water, no electricity, and no cell service. It was about a 4 mile walk from the main Ranch (although we did get use of an old ranch car for part of the week). It was an incredible experience. Cheryl and Karen SO kindly came to look after the boys in our absence.
Playing with ball with Grandma....
Grandma and Aunt Karen just spent some time with us, and SO kindly looked after the boys for us while we were in Montana. We are very grateful. The boys had such wonderful time with them. Here's a picture I took before we left.....one of Cammy's favorite games these days is ball and he's remarkably good at catching the ball (he seems to know just the right moment to close his hands) when it's rolled to him and bouncing it back.
Tan shaving...
One of Tan's favorite bath time activities these days is shaving.....he loves to put on shaving cream and pretend to shave it off with the tale of his humpback whale toy. It's very cute. Mike told him that boys don't usually shave their legs, but he's decided he's a swimmer who needs to shave his legs (and armpits!) to go fast!!!! Here's some pictures of a recent tub time.
