Earthday Birthday....

We had our annual Earthday party, complete with dirt cake this week and went picking up trash in honor of Earthday today. We picked up alot of trash (which I'm not sure is bad or good) and found some interesting items. Tanner was a huge Earthday helper, getting into nooks and crannies to get trash that Mike and I couldn't have reached otherwise and we did tons of team work to get trash in hard to reach places. It was a lot of fun.

Trip to Texas...

We just returned from an incredible week in Texas with the family. We had such a great time. We did a ton - the rodeo (thankfully we talked Mike out of entering Tanner in the mutton busting), the zoo, the Dallas children's museum, go-carting & mini-golf, the stockyards, cabelas(!) - but best of all we just spent time with the family. We went over Easter, so Jen had a long weekend and Karen took extra time off to be with us which was so sweet and so great. Tanner had a ball - he was in his element playing with his aunts and with Grandma and didn't want to leave. Mike and I got to go out on a bunch of dates which was really great - we went to a Rangers game and got to eat all of our southern food cravings. Thanks for such a great time...we love you guys.

Cammy and Momma....

Here's a picture that Jean took of Cam and I while she was visiting:) It's the first one I have of me and Cammy together (other than the hospital shots) so I wanted to share it. Thank you Jean:)
More to come....pictures of our latest trip to Texas are on their way...

Aunt Jean and Uncle Mike's visit....

I'm a little delayed with my posts but I just wanted to share some pictures from Jean and Mike's visit back in March. Jean and Mike - or Jean and Uncle Mike as they are fondly called by Tanner (who for some reason doesn't use Aunt for Jean) - came to visit us over Jean's March Break from teaching. We had SUCH a great time while they were here and went on lots of adventures - hikes, picnics, down to church street, in the hot tub!!! Tanner LOVED it. He played tons of board games with Uncle Mike (who also took him for a boys Ice Cream adventure) and he got to paint his toe nails with Aunt Jean which he'd been wanting to do forever (you can see the nail painting adventure in one of the pictures). Mike and I loved having Jean and Mike here too (thanks SO much for all your help guys) and we only wish we got to see them more often as we just love spending time with them. They were actually supposed to only stay for 2 days and then meet up with friends, and then plans changed so they stayed with us an extra day which selfishly we were very, very happy about as we just don't get to see them enough and the more the better!!!

Some ongoing pictures of Cam....

Cam is getting so much stronger on his tummy these days and is usually full of smiles - except in the car which he doesn't like so well, just like Tan at this age. But he loves getting out and LOVES when people smile and talk to him.

The boys....

I've been trying to get a good picture of the boys together, which I've come to realize is quite a challenge, but here's my best so far. Tanner calls himself my chocolate boy, and Cammy my vanilla boy:)
