More new developments...

Another tooth just poked through. Tanner seems to have decided to get his teeth one after the other with not much of a break in between. So...this is tooth 7...and being that they seem to come in pairs, I'm sure tooth 8 will come through next week. Tanner's also started to climb stairs (with us behind him of course). He started this just before we left for Manitou, but is getting more and more into it....

A busy week of visiting...

It's been a busy week of visiting (and visits from our neighbours and friends) this week, and Tanner has played with many friends which has been so much fun. Here's a picture of Tanner and Miles Romm playing at Shelburne Farms (Matias Williams is in the background)....Kate, Michelle and I took the boys there for a picnic on Wednesday:) The boys liked using Michelle's jogging stroller as a walker!!!! Better than any toy!!! Though they were really into Miles' car too.

Back at the cottage with Nan, Pap and Aunt Jean...

We just spent a week back up at the cottage with Nanny, Pappy and Aunt Jean which was lovely. Mike came up and spent the last weekend with us which was great too. Here are some pictures of Tanner swinging with Nanny, playing at the beach with Aunt Jean, and eating with Pappy. Mike actually dressed up on the last night...Tanner thought it was funny until Mike went to hold him and then he got a little scared.

At the fair...

This week is Addison County Fair and Field Days which is always a blast...pig races, tractor pulls, the whole 9 yards!!! And of course greasy fair food! Yum! As Mike has a booth at the fair, we've been able to go up several times....and Tanner's highlight was the crowds!!! As he and I walked through the crowds yesterday he was smiling and laughing and giggling making all the people around us laugh too....one woman said "he really seems to like all the people...he's not afraid at all." He sure does. For some reason he really LOVES crowds!!!! He also loved going to see the baby animals...especially when I pointed at the animal and made the animal sound (I'm sure I amused a few onlookers too...but oh well!!!). He got to see baby pigs, miniture horses, chickens, a calf, and baby goats. He was a little scared by the bigger horses but hopefully Aunt Jenny can show him it's ok when we see her next! I'm sure all the big animals seem huge to him. These pictures are of Tan at Mike's booth, visiting the animals, watching the Tractor pull (I don't think Tanner quite knew what to make of that) and Tan and Mike watching the hot air balloons (which he really like)...

At the swimming hole...

Here's a few pictures from last Sunday at our local swimming hole in Bristol. We all really like going there to cool off...

In the dog bowl...

Here's a picture of Tanner playing with Tanner's dog food station...one of his favorite activities. This is also his favorite way to carry around toys while he plays so he keeps his hands free!!!

Grandma's Visit...out and about in Bristol and Burlington...

Here's some pictures of us out and about in Bristol with Grandma, Aunt Karen and Aunt Jen. They were with us for a week and a half and we had such a good time. Grandma helped Tanner learn how to clap his hands (which he does all the time now)...and got him working on all sorts of new sounds...and of course spoiled him like crazy. And Aunt Karen and Jen taught him all sorts of new tricks too...and played a ton with him which he LOVED. So much fun!!!

A new kiddy pool...

We got a hand-me down turtle sandbox and a kiddy play structure from our neighbours, and Grandma and Aunt Jen figured out that we could turn the sandbox into a little kiddy pool, which Tanner LOVED!!! So much fun!!! Here are some pictures...

Our visit to Shelburne Farms...

While Grandma, Aunt Karen and Aunt Jenny were visiting us we went to Shelburne Farms to see all the baby animals...and even got to watch other kids milk a cow. A friend, Sofia, that Tanner met on the tractor ride in offered him his first Cheerios which he eagerly tried!!!! She was 20 months old and Tanner was facinated by all the things she can do...ie. climb, etc!
