At the new house....

We were over at the new house today and thought we'd snap some pictures. It's not ours quite yet - we close in September (and won't actually move til sometime after that)- but fingers crossed everything will go smoothly. It's a great place. These pictures actually don't do it justice....it's much more wonderful first hand:) But we had to at least try to capture a little of it to show everyone what we're working on....

Our own personal waterslide!!!!!

Well, we finally broke down and got a kiddy pool at the hardware store!!!! It's been just SO hot!!! And we figured out pretty quickly that we could "connect" it to one of our slides for some watersliding fun......here's a picture:)

I couldn't get one of Tan going down it as he still wants a hand for that part:)

Out on the boat....

We went out on the boat for a picnic supper one evening this week. Lake Champlain was so calm and the evening was beautiful, and we did lots of swimming which was really fun.....here are some pictures....

At the swimming hole....

We've been going to the swimming hole lots lately as it's been so hot, and Tanner absolutely loves it! It is a really

beautiful place and people from our community have put a lot of energy into creating little rock retaining walls so their is a nice calm pool for young kids:) It's fabulous:) We're very lucky....

Weekend at Home in Vermont....

We haven't had a weekend at home in quite a while, and this past weekend we just enjoyed being here in Vermont. We went swimming at our local swimming hole, hiked up Camel's Hump and enjoyed the amazing views, and then went down to Church Street in Burlington where we feasted on Sushi and Ben and Jerry's!!! Castillo Family Reunion in NYC

Here's pictures from our family reunion in NYC this past weekend whichwas so fun and so wonderful. We got to see Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Karen and Aunt Jen which is always such a treat for us......and then we also got to see Mike's half brother Luis and our sister in law Pauline and their boys Tyler, Logan and Conner. It was such a wonderful reunion. We had a blast and are only sad that it came and went way too quickly for our liking!!!! Connor's 2nd birthday is in July and Pauline held off on the party so that we could all be there to celebrate with them which was so fun. That was Saturday. Then on Sunday we all went down to the NYC Aquarium which all the kids loved and then walked along the boardwalk on Coney Island and took the kids to the rides. Tyler was such an amazing big cousin to Tanner - he pushed him in his stroller and brought him toys to play with and treats to eat. Tan is so lucky to have 3 such wonderful cousins:) We can't wait to see everyone again really soon......here are some pictures....

Family vacation at Manitou....

Here are some pictures from our family vacation at Lake Manitou last week. We had a great time and did lots boating, swimming, hiking and eating wild strawberries and really enjoyed being at the lake. It was fabulous.....
