Playing ball with Dad...

Tan loves playing ball with Dad. Poor old Daisy's dish holder has become our basketball hoops! She's a good sport about the whole thing!

Sledding and snow ice cream....

Tanner's been enjoying going down the little hill in our yard on his sled. Fun! Yesterday we also collected some snow and made snow ice cream which was a yummy treat....

Here's some pictures of Mike and I skiing at our favorite ski hill, just over the hill from home - Mad River Glen....we've been able to get out a few times this year and have been loving it! They have a wonderful little nursery on site which has been great for Tan too:) Here's a picture of the famous single chair too....they are contemplating getting rid of it:(

Here's a picture of Mike driving Tanner around on the motorcycle Grandma and Grandpa gave him for his birthday. As you can see he loves it!!!

First art project....

We had a big snowstorm Sunday/Monday and couldn't make it to swimming because the roads were so bad, so we went to toddler story time just down the road instead. After reading Alligator soup our mission was to make a pot of soup of our own! Tanner loved painting on the glue while I stuck stuff on. Here's our collaborative effort.

Finally we have snow again! It actually feels like winter! Yay! Here's some pictures of us out in the snow on Sunday.

Mike's pheasant hunt...

Michael D. bought Mike a pheasant hunt for Christmas, and the two of them went out this morning and had a blast. (If I told you he was hunting quail, I apologize....he was hunting pheasant! Apparently I don't know my game birds!!!).

Tanner with Miles and Matias...

Here's some pictures of Tanner playing with Miles and Matias this week. We were at Kate and Mile's house and Miles was pusing Tanner on his airplane push toy which Tanner loved. Miles and Tanner are also taking swimming and music together and really seem to recognize each other which is very sweet and wonderful. They look out for each other, and give each other big hugs, and definetely like to play together.

Food for wildlife...

Today we took food outside for birds and animals near our home as it can be such a hard time of year for them. Not so much this year as it's been so warm, but we decided to keep with the tradition of honoring the animals at this time of year:) Here are some pics. As you can see it's warmed up again and the snow from yesterday (that we sledded on) has already melted! Where is winter????

Sledding...

It's been such a warm season so far, but we finally got some good snow on Saturday and were able to take Tan for a ride on his new sled from Nan & Pap. He really loved it...especially when Dad would run fast!!!
