Alberta

Mike and I just got back from Alberta. It was an incredible trip and a much needed break.

We are so grateful to Mom and Dad who looked after the boys for us, took them on a million and one adventures, fixed our playhouse, cleaned our cookie sheets, and did all sorts of things around the house for us. Thank you both SO, SO much. We now have the most beautiful flowers out front too, that I've always dreamed of, but never had the extra dollars to buy for myself. Thank you so much for everything.

Our adventure started in Calgary. We stayed in a fancy hotel, ate amazing food and spent a day relaxing and enjoying the city. We then headed south to the porcupine hills on a hunting adventure. We had an incredible time, saw so many animals, made some great new friends and got to sneak up on Mule Deer to within 30 yards without them having any idea. It was an amazing experience.

I think we both fell in love with Alberta. The mountains, and prairies and wide open spaces are so full of soul and life. And a surprise trip to the emergency room left us incredibly impressed with the health care system up there. They were on top of things in ways that our system falls short.

Thank you Mom and Dad. Thank you Ty and Angie. Thank you Mike for all the fantastic adventures....
