Cammy pics....

Here some recent pictures of Cameron and a video Mike caught of him just yesterday. We caught his smiles on camera for the first time this week too! His favorite things lately are looking at stories with us, bath time, having his hair brushed, and being talked to (and talking back with his little goo's). It's very cute. Lately he's also started to try and get our attention when he wants it by shining smiles at us and "goo-ing" until we respond....and then of course he's SO happy when you realize what he's doing and answer him.

Cammy!!!

Here are some pictures of Cammy....just some of my favorites and one of tummy time. He is loving books these days. What was storytime with Tan each day has now become storytime with Cam and Tan, lying on the bed so that Cammy can enjoy the books too while kicking his feet. He really likes looking at books...both the little board books and also the older ones I read to Tan - in fact one of his current favs is the City Mouse and the Country Mouse (it must be something about the pictures). It's very cute...he smiles and kicks furiously. Another cute thing is that he has been "goo-ing" in his sleep, which is very cute. I guess I never knew there was a baby version of talking in your sleep, and I love it! Mike and I are still loving the smiles and our biggest pass-time these days is trying to make Cammy smile as it's so darn cute.

Out skiing...first time of the season.

We finally got out skiing today for the first time this year - and today also marks exactly 8 weeks since Cammy was born:) We went up to Mad River, our usual ski hill. We rented skiis for Tanner and took turns taking him up. It was SO tiring. Part of it is that he's still not super steady and so we end up lifting/supporting him quite significantly at this stage. Mike and I were exhausted from just one run each bringing him down the hill, and each run took forever. I also managed to take a major spill off the end of the chair lift, but thankfully Tanner thought it was hilarious and neither of us were hurt at all (my ski got caught on the chair). Tanner had a great time, and especially loved the chair lift....he could have kept going it Mike and hadn't been so wiped out!!! We'll go again next weekend.

Pre-Valentine's dinner with friends...

We had a pizza night with good friends of ours - Krista, Brendan, Hannah and Isabelle - on Friday night and the kids had such a great time, as did we. They were very cute together, drinking their "cocktails" in chairs all lined up beside each other and then giving each other rides on the tractor. Here are a few pictures....

Valentine's Day skate....

We were laughing with friends about how Valentine's has changed with family life. It wasn't roses and chocolates and wine this year...but we had a great time. We went out for dinner as a family at Al's french fries (romantic, right?!!! - but apparently a lot of others had the same idea so we didn't feel so badly) and then met up with friends at a Valentine's day skate in Burlington which was really fun. We finished by watching the girls hockey game (at the same arena). It was very fun:)

Prince Tanner....

Our friend's the Sonneborn's had a birthday party for their daughter Julia a few weeks back...it was a princess party, and Jenna was concerned that there wouldn't be enough for the boys to do. But the boys LOVED it...including Tanner who loved the tea party activity, and dressing up. He and the other boys especially loved the princess shoes. I love this age for how they still SO don't care about boy vs. girl activities, it's all just FUN!!! Yay for that...I wish that didn't have to pass.

Out for a walk....

We've been having unseasonably warm weather, which follows a really cold week for us -which makes playing outside a little easier:) Here we are out for a walk last weekend.

More pictures of Cammy....

Here's another attempt at a "weekly picture of Cam" - just a few that I liked:) We're having fun figuring out what makes Cam smile these days....as those little toothless smiles are just so darn cute:)

Sledding...

We finally found a really great sledding hill (the type I remember going to with Mom and Dad growing up) not too far from our house so we took Tanner a couple of weekends ago, and he loved going fast (of course!) and "in the hole" which was over a little jump that the bigger kids had made. Here are a few pictures of Tanner and Mike.
