Good times in Toronto..

We had a fabulous time in Toronto with Geemie and Poppa while Mike was on his annual hunt on Wolfe Island. It was such a fun week! We rode the subway like crazy which both boys loved (Cam is our newest little subway fanatic!), and Tan and Poppa even rode it from end to end one day. On their day long adventure Tan got to help the subway driver by honking the horn at every station which he loved. "Some bad kids stand too close to the tracks," he reported, "so we need to honk the horn."

While in Toronto, we spent lots of time at high park, one of our favorite Toronto hang outs, and spent a day playing at the barn at Bronte on Dad's inspiration -which I remember doing so well as a kid. Both boys loved Bronte - the barn is incredible (just as great as I remember it), and Tan had an incredible time trying to touch the rabbits who were a little skittish. With lots of patience, he was able to gain their trust, which was a really cool experience for him. Cam loved playing on all the playgrounds and riding the big tractor, which he waited so patiently for!

We also got to see cousin Riley which was a huge highlight for all of us. We had a little birthday celebration for all the kids and the boys were so sad that they couldn't go right back to Riley's house the next day! My favorite line of Cammy's though: "Cammy kiss Riley. Riley run away. Riley no like you (meaning him)." It was a sad moment for Cammy, but we convinced him that Riley was just a little nervous of her big boysterous cousins who come into her space with such explosive energy!!!!
I never get to do all the visiting I'd love to do while in Toronto - there are so many wonderful friends who I'd love to see and who I always regret that I didn't connect with. I'm so sorry to all of you that our life is just so crazy right now....
