It's the simple things...

We had such a great day apple picking yesterday. It's definetely the simple things that are just the best with young kids. Tanner just loves using the apple picker to get the tasty delicious apples from way up high and learned this year how to twist it just right to make the apples come off easily and perfectly. Cam, on the other hand, couldn't stop eating apples...one after the other....I think he must have eaten about 6 apples during our visit. Every time we've gone to the car since then he says "apple picking again?" excitedly! This morning the boys enjoyed washing and cutting our apples to make applesauce....and you just can't beat how the smell of applesauce permeates every corner of the house. It's one of the most wonderful smells of fall. We're on a mission to process our apples so we can get out again and pick another batch. The boys biggest wish right now is that we can make it happen:) Ah...the simple things....
