Camping....and the traditional shoot...

We had an awesome June camping weekend this year. Although camping with a 1 1/2 year old is no easy task, the boys had a great time and that made it worth all the effort.

The archery part is always a ball, and Tanner's shooting was amazing. At 4, he is by far the youngest in his age category and got 3rd place. We were really proud of him. He shot every target, and even was challenging himself to shoot from further back than he should be at his age.

Cammy proudly carried his bow all over the woods and shot several targets too which was super cute.

We also had a great time picking wild strawberries, catching salamanders in the pond (there were so many of them this year and Tan figured out how to catch them on his own which was very cool!) and playing in the river. Both boys loved cooking over the camp stove and eating camp meals and of course sleeping in the tent is always a highlight:)
