Memorial Day in Vergennes....

We had such a great time at the Memorial Day parade this year, and it was a great activity to come home too (see previous post). You've just got to love small town life - you always run into all sorts of people you know, people in the parade wave/honk at you, even Daisy can join us (I swear it's a highlight of her life) and it's easy to get a front row seat which you just can't beat!!! We always watch the parade from Mike's office (the parade route goes right down main street) and for several years we've watched it with good friends of ours, the Gallivan's, which always makes it especially wonderful, fun and special.
