Thanksgiving in Texas....

We spent Thanksgiving with the family in Dallas this year which was absolutely wonderful. We arrived Thanksgiving day and had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings combined with a wonderful little party for Tanner - complete with presents, tons of balloons and the coolest Tractor cake ever, made by Grandma of course! We were in Texas for 10 days and spent part of the time in Dallas and in the middle of the trip Mike and I went on a 4 day hunting adventure in South Texas which was a really great little getaway as well. We had such a great time spending time with everyone. Highlights include: "Tata cake" and "boons", doing everything with Grandma, playing with Aunt Karen and Aunt Jenny, Yoga with Grandpa, Tan's first time on a horse (which Aunt Jenny set up for him - we loved the chance to watch Aunt Jen ride too!), the Santa Claus parade, visiting the ice sculptures and ice slide and a ton of other wonderful random moments with everyone. While we were in Dallas we also got to have a little visit with Mike's really good friend from college -Ryan- and his wife Andrea. They were in Dallas too visiting family for Thanksgiving, and it was such a nice treat to be able to see them. They're expecting in february-a little boy-and we're so excited for them:)
