Tanner's Cowboy Hoedown....

We had a Cowboy Hoedown for Tan's second birthday this past weekend and it was SO much fun. Tan has some amazing friends (and so do we). We all feel very lucky. Tan's good friends Ethan, Owen, Julia, Ethan and Miles all came to the party (along with their parents - our good friends!). Unfotunately Tan's friends Hannah and Isabelle were sick and couldn't join us:( As a special surprise Grammy and Poppa drove down from Toronto for the party which was so fabulous and made Tanner's day and weekend.

We had all sorts of Cowboy activity stations - panning for gold, horseback riding (on Poppa and Grammy's rocking horse), cook up some grub, music making and make your own Sheriff's badge. All the kids got Cowboy hats and bandanas so we had lots of little Cowboys running around which was fun. We set it all up the night before after Tan went to bed, and so I think it was like Christmas when he woke up on the day of the party.

Anyways, we had such a great time....and here are some pictures of some of the decorations and of Tan. Unfortunately we were so busy during the party we didn't get a chance to snap any pictures....
