At the rink...

We have spent a lot of time at the rink this winter and were sad to see skating come to an end last Thursday. Both boys have been loving it. I started the season unsure of whether I should put Cammy on skates, but he's done a great job and not long into the season was moving away from the milk crate pretty regularly. Tan has been learning a lot - skating forwards, backwards, jumps, turns....such a huge leap from last winter and he and the instructor have become good buddies. She keeps trying to convince him to sign up for more formal lessons, but he says he's not ready and besides he "likes skiing best!" Ahhh, yes, a boy after my own heart!!! Though as we always talk about anything that makes your body strong is good stuff and skiing and skating aren't all that different in many ways:)
