Easter in Toronto....

We celebrated Easter in Toronto, and had a great time, except for our unexpected gift from the Easter bunny this year - an uncontrollably high fever for Cam despite a trip to St. Joe's emergency room - which ended our trip early with a hasty overnight drive back to VT:( We did have a really great time though. Tan loved riding the subways, and he and Poppa went on a special trip (just the two of them) by subway to High Park which Tan thought was just perfect. Geemie also planned a fantastic trip up the CN Tower followed by lunch at the Old Spaghetti factory. Tan has been wanting to go up the big needle (as he fondly calls it) for quite a while now, so he was thrilled and we all had a great time - thank you so much Mom!!! And of course we took the subway to get there which was another hit. Mike an I also got a date night which was incredible and actually got to see Avatar on the big screen (which we thought was not going to be possible for us) followed by some great sushi:) Another huge highlight was spending time with Jean, Mike and baby Riley. Cammy loves seeing baby Riley. Tanner learned that he and Jean both LOVE orange soda and chocolate ice cream and that was a tremendous bonding experience for the two of them. He can't wait til Aunt Jean can come visit again, so that he can take her to Ben and Jerry's for chocolate ice cream (he told me this today Jean, if you're reading this:)
