Out on Lake Champlain....

We had a gorgeous day yesterday and after a hike up Bristol Notch we took the boat out on Lake Champlain for a swim. We had a great time and both kids loved playing in the water. We got a little more adventure too, when a mouse (which had been living on the boat) came out on the deck to join us. Tanner was excited, but me, not so much! Mike caught it by the tail and put it in the water, and we got to watch it swim to the grasses in the shallow water and climb up a blade of grass. It was actually really cool to watch. The motor on Mike's boat is really loud - hence the earphones on Cam! He doesn't quite know what to make of them.
