Pumpkin carving and pumpkin pie....

Mike was just away on a big hunt for a week, and before he left we carved our giant pumpkin (it was a big one this year!), made our scary pumpkin faces and ate pumpkin pie (which Tanner said was his favorite!). It's very cute because he (knock on wood) has been very good in the trying food department and is always finding new favorites, but pumpkin pie appears to be our new "best favorite!" Tanner and I worked on the scary pumpkin faces while Mike did the carving of the big pumpkin. We were saying that pumpking carving has gotten way more advanced with all the patterns that are out now. Tanner wanted the "happy face pumpkin" which actually turned out to be pretty sinister looking.
