Out for a hike and picnic....

We went from tons of snow and skiing last weekend, to 75 degrees this weekend! What a change! So, we packed a picnic and went out hiking today. Tanner was eager to walk part of the trail which was fun and he did a great job of it:)

The frogs and turtles were already out in full force at the little pond where we stopped for lunch and we also got to see a peregrine falcon which is nesting on a nearby ridge (of course we didn't get near it's nesting place, but it was really fun to see and hear it). It was a great way to spend this beautiful April day:)
